Only people with good deal of money collect paintings, rare books and other art objects. Often such private collections are given to museums, libraries and public galleries so that others might take pleasure in seeing them. So one of the Morozov brothers, a Russian businessman, gave his collection of the French impressionists’ paintings to the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts as a gift at the beginning of the 20th century. But he was not the only maker of such an expansive and dear presents. My grandparents are fond of gardening. My grandpa cultivates vegetables and my grandmother deals with fruit and all kind of flowers. And they used to say that if you have chosen a hobby according to your character and taste you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting.
